    # multidimensional frown core gesamtkunstwerk
    # screamadelica discourses of care

In true Alice KΓΆppel style, Alice KΓΆppel reaches for the stars - and seemingly casually becomes a superstar in the process.

Nonchalantly shouting and staggeringly dancing in squiggles, she explores what it means to have a voice, or much rather: to give oneself a voice.

Big Zis, the Zurich rapper, has been shaking up the male-dominated Swiss rap game since the late 1990s with her clever lyrics, witty punchlines, and provocative attitude. Winner of the Swiss Music Prize 2020 and the Zurich Art Prize 2021, she combines hip hop with jazz, punk, and improvisation in an eloquent yet danceable rebellion against long outdated social norms and the patriarchal order.

    # modular ambient binding field recordings, spoken word & electroacustics

A body, a voice, a patch cable - Claude BΓΌhler's music is political sound in motion.
Between booming bass, distorted vocal samples and fragmented beats, a sonic space opens up in which emotion, resistance and playfulness are allowed to unfold in equal measure into a multidimensional, feminist collage.

Brand new, pew pew pew! Rhubarb pop meets barbershop hop. A rock lobster indie wrap. Art pop, smart pop, stupid pop. Highbrow, lowbrow, Bauhaus. Indie whatever, grrrl!
cutecumber is a kind of indie rock bandβ„’, but queer, nerdy and cute. The trio from Zurich is clearly identifiable by their floral patterns, animal prints, and an inexplicable penchant for unsmoked cigarettes, ping-pong balls, freshly hatched kittens, and uninteresting side characters from computer games.

HMOT works with sound and decoloniality. Born and raised in East Siberia, Russia, with Başqort roots, HMOT takes this dual heritage as a starting point to study the politics of indigeneity, reflecting on how the interaction of indigenous and non-indigenous sonic and listening practices turns them into tools for community-building, the preservation of collective memory, and the transformation of political imagination into direct action.

    # technoid drum ritual
    # high-energy-minimal-polyrhythm-meditation

Being close to death is one of my most moving experiences, contrasting how impermanent we are and how deeply permanent someone's effect on us can be. Together with my mother, I have been walking this path between life and death for the past four years, during which time my 40-minute drum solo piece has gradually evolved. It's not about loss, but about how we perceive life more intensely through our proximity to death and how it connects us to the moment and community; it's about this non-dualistic state of life and death as a daily practice. Played on a uniquely prepared drum kit, without loops or overdubs, the music moves between drum rituals, contemporary minimalism and techno rave.

With 'A Life In Disguise' artist RDH presents a first release that is equally haunting and beautiful.

The intricately spun tracks seemlessly bind field recordings with synthwave tapestries into four at the same time meticulously crafted and equally lightweight ambient pieces that will have you crave for more. Tragedy may wait around every corner but with RDHs album in your pocket, waiting for the other shoe to drop is bliss.

#biophony anthropophony audio manipulation of real unreal

Rosso Polare is a morphing collective that draws on experiences and influences from diverse environments, including the Italian countryside and urban life, as well as the rich biophony, anthropophony, and symbolism of the Northern side of Italy. This creates a unique sonic language that blends field recordings, folklore, and audio manipulation.

With an approach rooted in both solid theoretical preparation and spontaneous creative intuition, the group explores counter-narratives on the representation of the animal world. Their research aims to bridge the gap between human-produced music and natural bioacoustics, raising awareness in listeners about the intrinsic connection between humans and nature.

Taranja Wu is on a mission! With a guitar in one hand and a pistol in the other, she's the one calling the shots. Her reckoning is celebrated with punky, rattling guitar noises, sawing synthesizers, relentless pounding of the beat and alien signals captured by chance from outer space.

A sound full of raw elegance and street-smart glamor accompanied by Taranja Wu's slogan-like vocals with which she β€œ... could seduce the devil himself...”.
